How about this ….

Been there, done that, and now I’ve actually got the T shirt! All thanks to a surprise present from the designer of my website, the very lovely John Rawnsley.
I wasted no time in unashamedly flaunting my new T shirt the very next day at a Sunday lunch in my favourite Italian restaurant, Ciao Bella, Lambs Conduit Street, Bloomsbury. The delicious waiters were agog to see a photograph of me and my camel emblazoned across my chest and also a camel train traversing the Sahara across my back, inviting those curious enough to tap into www.camelvoyages.com
After lunch, fortified by white wine and spaghetti vongole, I marched down the street to the contemporary gentlemen’s outfitters J. Crew – an oasis of ultra-chic calm whose clothing is the perfect answer for the cool androgynous style I have adopted to meet the demands of camelback trekking.

This is good timing as I am busily preparing for my forthcoming desert trip in October, followed by another one over the coming New Year.
